Fundraiser for Sparta Area Cancer Support in Honor of National Family Caregivers Month

November is National Family Caregivers Month. It’s a good time to remember those who are suffering with cancer and their caregivers. This disease has a devastating impact on our loved ones and their caregivers. The physical, emotional, and financial toll is heavy. Through the Sparta Area Cancer Support (SACs) organization, our community has done an outstanding job of coming together to be there for these people at a time when they need a friend more than ever.

Now, you can help make a difference too. In honor of Family Caregivers Month, you are invited to join us in an online fund-raiser for SACS. We are donating 10% of our November royalties made from the online Amazon sales of our new book, “Cocoon of Love for Cancer Caregivers: Get Through the Tough Times” to Sparta Area Cancer Support(SACS).

Please share this post to help make people aware of how they can help raise funds and make others aware of this wonderful organization we are so fortunate to have available in our community.

If you’d like to participate, here’s the link to the get the Kindle version or the Paperback version of the book: http://bit.ly/CocoonOfLoveBook  This book provides many practical tips to help caregivers deal with their own emotional and physical impact of being a caregiver to a loved one with cancer, as well as providing many ways to help their loved one deal with the illness.

We want to give all the local SACS supporters a chance to save so we are offering the book at a reduced price for a very short time. These savings won’t last long, so grab your copy quickly before the price goes up.

Let’s help SACS support families in our community who are fighting this devastating disease, as well as helping fund cancer research at Mayo Clinic Health System and Gundersen Health Care facilities in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Please feel free to share this post. The more shares, the better the chance of raising more funds for SACS.

For those who wish to actively participate in this fundraiser, we will be posting various graphics and information that you will be able to share with others to maintain awareness of the fundraiser and Family Caregivers Month throughout the month of November.  You can follow us at the link below on Facebook for more.
